What do I need to bring when heading out on a guided adventure? +

If you are heading out on one of our guided adventures, then all wetsuits and safety equipment will be provided. There are however a few things that you will need to bring along:

– Towel & Swimwear
– Old trainers that can get wet. Please note that neoprene beach shoes are NOT ideal for Coasteering
– Any medication that is required such as asthma inhalers or epi pens – these can be carried by your guide.
– If you are Coasteering then please bring an old pair of shorts to go over your wetsuit.
– Sun cream

What if I don’t have a roof rack? +

No roof rack, No worries. We have soft racks that can be fitted to most five door cars. This enables you to head off adventuring to your chosen location.

Where can I use the kit that I hire? +

All kit is collected and returned from/to our base at Celtic Camping. We are more than happy to discuss the best places to go on the day, having adventured around this area for the past 25 years we know all the best spots! Please note that all advice given on where to take kit is guidance only. Ultimately it is the hirers responsibility.

Is there an age limit for the activities? +

We like to be able to take youngsters out adventuring, therefore if your little one’s fit into our wetsuits and safety equipment then we are good to go! As a rule of thumb our kit will fit little one’s age 6 +

Do I need any experience before booking onto an adventure session? +

All of our activities are catered to the individuals on the session and we believe in challenge by choice, therefore no experience is required before booking onto the session. Our fully qualified guides will do there very best to make sure that everyone gets the most out of their adventure session, whether that is doing a 7 meter jump or just enjoying being in the environment, we can cater for all.

Are our guides qualified? +

Our experienced guides hold a variety of national governing body awards such as British Canoeing awards, 16 hr Outdoor First Aid, Surf lifesaving as well as going through stringent in house training, ensuring that they know the coastline like the back of their hand! They are committed to delivering fun but safe adventures that can challenge people along the way.

Do I need experience to hire kit? +

Prior experience isn’t essential before hiring our kit although it could be useful. We are more than happy to chat through the safest places to go and how to use the kit to help you on your way.
